At the invitation of the RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation, Tamara Burenko, Executive Director of the Energy Security Center of Ukraine, took part in the conference "RePower Ukraine: City of the Future: Dialogue between the public and local government representatives on just recovery", which is a key part of the project "Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Ukraine" and is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
The aim of the event is to promote a dialogue on just recovery of communities, focusing on reliable energy supply and sustainable urban development.
The conference participants spoke about energy supply, municipal development and the role of education in creating cities of the future, and Ukrainian communities presented successful renewable energy projects.
